Trip Comnination Galapagos Otavalo Sani Lodge

February 2010

We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Ecuador, completely organised by Wildlife Amazon. We wanted to make the most of our two weeks which we certainly felt we did; it started in Quito where we were met by Javier, our main guide for the tour. He speaks English and was extremely attentive, efficient and kind: highly recommended. We were then driven to Otavalo for an overnight stay, after this we flew to the Galapagos Islands where Wildlife Amazon organised, not only a superb catamaran but also two additional days on Isabella with another very kind and efficient guide (Massimo). We were then driven to Coca from where we took a boat ride and canoe ride to Sani Lodge, from here we flew back to Quito. Everything from hotels to boat trips to being collected to and from airports and boats was very efficiently organised for us and there were absolutely no hitches, we can’t recommend Robert Vaca and Wildlife Amazon enough.  this is a plan

My friend and I recently returned from a five day trip into Yasuni National Park with Wildlife Amazon. I have travelled to rainforests all over the world; Congo, Borneo, Amazon, Central America, SE Asia and I have travelled with many jungle outfitters. Wildlife Amazon was one of the best I've encountered. Robert vaca the owner was always upfront and truthfull. He was quick to communicate with me when I had a question over email or Skype. He and his staff, Javier, and Conan trully care about the indigenious people and the Amazon. Conan actually is a Waorani. The trip was amazing and I will never forget it. The Warani are some of the kindest rainforest people I have met. Yasuni was wild and amazing. We saw many animals along the way. Everything went as planned and the trip was well planned by Wildlife Amazon. There was never an attempt to take advantage of us or renege on the travel itinerary. I felt that the company was trying to exceed any expectations to have us enjoy the trip.

I recommend the trip to anyone.

Sincerely, Matthew Allison

TESTIMONIAL from Buddy Levy--freelance adventure journalist, author of CONQUISTADOR: Hernan Cortes, King Montezuma, and the Last Stand of the Aztecs and the forthcoming RIVER OF DARKNESS: Francisco Orellana's Historic Descent of the Amazon.

"In late may and early June of 2008 I went on a Yasuni National Park and Napo River adventure with Wildlife Amazon. What a terrific expedition and what grand adventure. After a day-long trip from Coca, Ecuador, we camped for five nights in the stunningly beautiful Yasuni National Park, where we did daily canoe excursions on the lake and also long hikes in the rainforest. We saw a great deal of wildlife, including pink and gray river dolphins, turtles, monkeys, and of course large numbers of birds, including macaws, toucans, parrots, terns, jacanas ... Too many to name, actually. One highlight was an evening canoe into a lagoon to see a marvelous heron rookery, with hundreds of young fledglings just about ready for flight. We were able to get very close and it was an amazing sight and a cacophony of sound as well. Our main guide Javier Vidal was deeply knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the region, spoke excellent English, had a superb sense of humor, and was genuinely passionate about the Amazon region. The other guide and cook  prepared excellent food three meals a day, and our camp was remote, rustic, yet quite comfortable. I would recommend Wildlife Amazon Adventures for people wanting an authentic Amazon jungle experience that is remote yet safe and organized. After the Yasuni National Park, we traveled in motorized canoes for a few more days downriver to our final destination, Iquitos, Peru. All in all, this was the trip of a lifetime!”

Our fellow travellers,
Our names are Ofer & Elad.
During April 2007 we had a five days excursion in the Jungles of Coca, Ecuador with the guidance of Mr. Robert Vaca
The Excursion included Canue travelling on the Amazon river ,swimming with Dolphins, fishing Piranas, hiking through the Jungle, on going lessons about various types of animals (Birds, Fish, raptiles etc.), plants and their usage (Which plants are for medical puposes and which are edible).
We spent several nights within the Jungle.
Regarding supply - everything was covered by our guides: Tents, boots, matresses, food and beverages for the entire period. Cooked great meals on a daily basis.
We had no need carrying redundant equipment since everything was prearranged by our guides.
We also enjoyed the fine hospitality in Robert's Hotel :San-Fermin Hotel. We got an air-conditioned room and showers.

Our guides were extremely reliable, polite, attentive and quicky enough we realized that we cuold trust them in every mean. We paid in advance using wire transfer. No need to worry, your money is safe!

The worm welcome and fine hospitality we received from our guides during the entire period made this trip an unforgattable experience for us. We would certainely do our outmost to come back and have another go with our hosts. we cannot think of a better place to be if you want to know the Jungle.

Travel from coca to Iquitos

Wild life Amazon is a very serious and dedicated company. I was impressed by the speed of their responses to my questions and the detailed care they have given to my trip. Every little detail was taken care of.
It was a great experience to travel from Quito all the way to Iquitos and further on to Leticia. What was especially interesting was that you you could actually see the origins of the amnzone in the andes mountains and follow it all the way to the amazone river.

June  03   2009

In June 2009 we visited Huaorani communities on the Shiripuno and Conanaco rivers. Our guide was Sr. Robert Vaca. When we arrived, Robert told us that we were in manos buenos (good hands) with him. I think this was an understatement because we have never been in better hands. Our trip was well-planned and Robert made every possible effort to see that our trip was as perfect as possible. He is not only concerned with the needs of his clients, but also seems to be genuinely concerned for the well-being of the Huaorani people. We were so favorably impressed with him that we want to give him the highest recommendations possible.
