YASUNI NATIONAL PARK

JATUNCOCHA LAGOON

This is located in the heart of the Yasuní national Park, the lagoons are considered to be the habitat of several species of flora and fauna.  You can be fortunate and observe an anaconda, a jaguar and animals that are rarely seen, nothing here is prepared anything can happen.  You are the difference, many times we travel with that expectation but each person is different, each person is born with a different star or with different luck.  We want that you to travel with us, we assure you it will be an exotic adventure, each trip brings new expectations. 

 

6 DAYS AND 5 NIGHTS. 

 

FIRST DAY.- MONDAY

 

8h00 Departure from Francisco de Orellana having as destiny Rocafuerte (frontier town Ecuador - Peru), public river transportation, downstream navigating Napo river.  Lodging at a family house.  Approximate time of the trip 10 hours. 

 

SECOND DAY.- TUESDAY

 

9h00 Breakfast, departure from Nueva Rocafuerte, we will navigate the Yasuní river in a private canoe to the Yasuní National Park to a point known as Varadero, approximate time of navigation 2 hours, then we will walk for an approximate of 4.5 hours in the center of the Yasuni National Park towards river Nasiño where we will develop our activities.  We will camp in the forest. 

 

THIRD DAY. -MIERCOLES

 

7h00 Breakfast, return towards the Yasuní river observing the fauna and the flora, then we sail to the Lorococha lagoon where we will observe birds, monkeys, and caymans at night.

 

FOURTH DAY.- THURSDAY

 

7h00 Breakfast, we leave the Lorococha lagoon in canoe to row downstream by the Yasuní river where we will have the possibility to observe pink dolphins; starting at 20h00 in the evening we will observe caymans. 

 

FIFTH DAY. - FRIDAY

 

7h00 Breakfast, walk by the forest to the "SALADERO", which is a place where the animals are fed of minerals that they gteof the floor, also species of trees, heliconias, insects, amphibious, primates, in the afternoon sports fishing of piranhas and other species of fish, we will return to New Rocafuerte.  Lodging in the family house. 

 

SIXTH DAY.- SATURDAY

 

5h00 Departure from Nueva Rocafuerte having as destiny Francisco de Orellana Coca. Approximate time of arrival 16h00 to 18h00.  Lodging at the San Fermín Hotel. 

 

END OF THE TRIP.-

 

Includes:  Meals (breakfast, lunch, supper), transportation, lodging or tents, rubber boots, insulating, ponchos of water, guide, water, lodging at San Fermín Hotel.
