Ecuador is home to the Galapagos Islands, Amazing Beaches, Beautiful Andean Mountains, and Mysterious and Wild Jungle
The Galapagos Archipelago is a cluster of some 13 volcanic islands and associated islets and rocks located just under the equator, about 600 miles west of Ecuador in South America. The oldest of the islands are about 4 million years old and the youngest are still in the process of being formed. Indeed, the Galapagos Islands are considered to be one of the most active volcanic areas in the world.
Ecuador is home to the Galapagos, the place that inspired Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution and which he considered a wonderful demonstration of natural selection due to its high number of variations both within and across species. The Galapagos Islands are home to many rare species some of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
The abundance and behavior of its wildlife including many endemic species make the Galapagos Islands an attraction for scientists and nature lovers. Gracious blue footed boobies and the giant tortoises, sea lions, mysterious islands creatures like birds that lost their ability to fly (flightless cormorants), penguins at the equator, armies of marine iguanas and other species, endemic to the Galapagos islands help us learn how friendly animals can be when not threatened. You will visit and travel the islands experiencing harmony with nature.
Our 5 day/4 night trip begins in Quito with our first destination visiting the enchanted Galápagos Islands. We begin our Galapagos adventure at the Baltra Airport located on the island of Santa Cruz. From here our visits include two different islands which will take us 5 days/4 nights, arriving in Quito on the fifth day.
We offer yachts of varying luxury for your visit to these islands. If you have any preference as to the size or luxury of the boat, we are able to accommodate your needs.
There are over 58 species of birds residing in the Galapagos, of which 28 are endemic, while the remaining birds migrate here during colder climates in the northern/southern hemisphere. While a high percentage of wildlife can be spotted on the uninhabited islands of the Galapagos, a large number of birds may be seen by just looking outside your window! Look for the Galapagos Penguin, Red-footed Boobies and of course the infamous Galapagos Tortoise, sea lions, Iguanas, Whale Sharks during your Galapagos adventure.

Ecuador has four regions: the Galapagos Islands located off the coast; the coastal region with its beautiful beaches; the Andean mountains with its high peaks and stunning sights and “El Oriente”, Ecuador’s part of the Amazon. Ecuador is considered one of the most diverse places on earth because of its different regions and the many different types of flora and fauna found here.
